COMPANY HISTORY
| 1955 | Founded as "Shikoku Kagaku Kenkyusho". Started the business by recycling solvent (purifying waste solvent for paints by distillation and changing into new solvent) and developing water-based architectural coating. |
| 1963 | Changed the company name to "Shikoku Kaken Kogyo Co., Ltd." |
| 1976 | Established Singapore office. |
| 1981 | Established subsidiary SKK (S) PTE., LTD. in Singapore. |
| 1982 | Established Malaysia office. |
| 1983 | Constructed and started operation of Singapore factory. |
| 1984 |
Established SK KAKEN (M)., BHD in Malaysia.
Established SKK (H'K) CO., LTD. in Hong Kong. |
| 1987 | Constructed and started operation of the second factory in Singapore. |
| 1991 | Changed the company name to "SK KAKEN Co., Ltd". |
